piers faccini

i really like Piers Faccini. he's a super-cool, slightly scruffy painter/musician from France and he makes the most beautiful music. i can't really describe it (how confusing are all those musical terms? what on earth do "psychedelic rock" and "anti-folk" even mean?). he has a knack of creating powerful, strong melodies which are slightly haunting... but in a good way :)

here's a YouTube video of him singing two songs live on a random street (how cool??). my favourite-favourite is the second one called The Wind That Blows 'cause it's just so darn beautiful...
